A steel or brass brush is a great first step in the polishing process. Use a steel brush as you might use steel wool to remove antiquing and impart a semi-matte surface. Do not get the brush wet, as it will rust. A brass brush is great to use wet, under running water with liquid soap. Your piece will have a low-polish sheen.
Once your pieces are polished, you'll want to explore our variety of packaging and anti-tarnish products to keep your pieces in tip top shape. Store pieces in plastic baggies with an anti-tarnish square and your pieces will look as good as the day they came off your bench.
