Be sure and check out the optional accessories for the kiln. We carry red brass covers that were specially designed for Keum-boo. These plates can be inserted above the element of the kiln to moderate heat inside. One plate is flat for flatter designs while the other has a depression for non-flat pieces. We also have a 3-piece Ceramic Disc Set which is designed to be inserted into the kiln for firing metal clay. This helps the kiln heat quickly and evenly.
