What to Bring to JewelryTools Classes Tucson 2012
What Do I Need to Bring to Tucson?
Great question!
Each class has its own specific supply kit that you'll pick up at the class, so you don't have to worry about bringing your own materials. We'll also have plenty of tools avaialbe at the JewelryTools.com booth for you to purchase (great for those of us flying in to Tucson) - but feel free to bring your favorite set of pliers or any other tools you can't make jewelry without.
We will also have lighting and power strips provided, but if you'd like to bring additional lights, magnifiers, Opti-visors, beading mats, or any other supplemental tools, feel free.
Bring a Camera! Most instructors not only allow, but encourage you to take pictures as you work through the project. And of course, you'll want to take lots of pictures of your finished works, the friends you meet in class, and all the sights at Tucson Electric Park. Oh, and bring an extra memory card or roll of film, too!
You may also want to bring a snack, a sweater, a bottle of water, and sunglasses, or a visor or hat. Just from our own experience at TEP, it can get windy (although the weather is often "just right"), and the sun is always shining bright. Although our classes are held indoors, when you're walking around exploring the rest of TEP, you'll be glad you can see without holding your hand over your eyes!
